Watersplashing Festival 泼水节

The Dai New Year, once a solemn temple occasion, is now a riotous affair lasting three days.

Due to the drought in Yunnan, officials have downscaled the Poshuijie in 2010, with watersplashing limited to 2 hours on one day only. They have added a few raindances instead (no joke)
