Nadam 那达慕

Thousands of miles from the grasslands of Mongolia, the Mongolians in Xingmeng have preserved their ethnic identity since the times of Kublai Khan. And even though they have only nine horses today, they still celebrate the Nadam festival of their ancestors.

Note, the festival is held only every three years, usually in December. Dates vary.
