Twin Festival

As the absurd in Yunnan knows no limits, Mojiang is since 2005 home to an annual twin festival, held over the May holiday.

Why Mojiang? Because of a statistical blip, Mojiang and particularly Hexi township have a very high rate of twins, but some sceptics say it is all due to the water. Oh well. If you are a twin and have nothing better to do that day, maybe head down to Hexi.
